Hey, I'm Ed - a fantasy cartographer! I have loved making maps for as long as I can remember. I spent hours on my hands and knees as a kid, re-drawing Middle Earth, Alagaësia, Narnia etc. It feels pretty ridiculous that it is now a job for me!

I grew up in the UK, and studied Computer Science at University. I then spent several years working as a freelance programmer, whilst converting a van. In 2022, I spent the year working remotely, travelling to Switzerland, Hungary, Prague, Croatia and France. I spent several months in the French Alps, during which time I decided to part ways with programming, and moved to focusing on illustration. I am about to head out to Tunisia for a few weeks, and looking forward to some warm-weather mapping!
